What can I bring for my dog/s into kennels?

Food

Due to the number of different diets, brands, allergies and intolerances, we do not provide food during your dog’s stay.

Please provide:

  • Enough of your dog’s usual food for their entire stay.

  • Dry food divided into labelled bags or containers—either one for each meal or one for each day.

  • Any wet, raw or frozen food your dog requires.

  • An additional two days’ worth of food, packed separately and clearly labelled “Extra Food.”

Please label all food with your dog’s name.

We are happy to store raw and frozen food. However, our storage space is limited, so please only bring the food and feeding items your dog will need—we can’t quite store everything and the kitchen sink! 🐾

Bedding

We provide raised beds, soft vet bedding and cosy blankets to keep your dog comfortable during their stay. These are quick and easy for us to wash and dry, which helps us keep everything clean and hygienic.

We prefer to use our own bedding, especially during the winter when dogs can come back from the field wet or muddy, as we can easily change and wash it whenever needed.

If you would like to bring something familiar to help your dog settle, a small blanket or an old T-shirt is absolutely fine. Please label it clearly with your dog’s name and your surname using a wash-resistant marker. Items from home are left at the owner’s risk, as we cannot be responsible for anything that becomes lost or damaged.

We kindly ask that you do not bring dog beds, large bedding items or plastic beds, as these can become wet, muddy or soiled and we are unable to wash and dry larger items. We also cannot guarantee that anything brought from home will be freshly washed and ready at collection time.

🐾

Toys

You are very welcome to bring a few of your dog’s favourite toys to help them feel at home during their stay.

Please bear in mind that all toys are left at the owner’s risk. We cannot accept responsibility for toys that become lost or damaged, or if your dog chews, breaks or swallows any part of them. For your dog’s safety, please only bring toys that are suitable for them and avoid anything particularly precious or irreplaceable.

🐾

Treats

You are very welcome to bring any treats your dog usually enjoys.

Please make sure all treats are clearly labelled with your dog’s name and your surname.

🐾

Collars and Leads

Please ensure your dog arrives wearing a secure collar and is kept on a lead at all times. If you normally use a harness or Halti, please bring this with you too.

Please give other customers and their dogs plenty of space during drop-off and collection. Your dog may be friendly, but other dogs may feel nervous or uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs.

🐾

Bowls

There is no need to bring food or water bowls for your dog’s stay, as we provide these for every dog.
